A Rendezvous With Hope
I’m sad to see you going any time this year,
after those years that we’ve been together;
we’ve formed relationships in various settings
like a treasure trove in human understanding.
It’s a hybrid of sorts, an enriching experience,
a victory that sounds like an interaction;
day after day brings to birth God’s invitation,
love one another as his major criterion.
Along with the wounds of being human,
God’s grace abounds in monstrous proportions;
the path that leads to answer his calling
makes sense in deeds that say human actions.
To comb out from our nitty-gritty life,
those living verses of perseverance;
heaps of struggles that we’ve gone through
yet, we’ve stood still and face another day.
With Christ as our center, hope and inspiration,
we’ve promised to keep that we’ll meet again
that someday towards springtime in our lives
our quest for reconnecting will bring us one.
