A Rendezvous of Memories
The past was filled with so much joy,
Like it was just the two of us, oh boy.
Where there seemed to be no end to our affection and fun,
Our story seemed to have just begun.
But unexpectedly, we drifted apart,
Hoping that the past could restart.
Even so, you're still my favorite memory,
So I'll wait for you at our rendezvous, patiently.
I can't settle for just memories of us,
I can't bear to see you with someone else, it's a fuss.
So let's try to fix this, let's make it right,
I don't want our story to fade into the night.
Wipe away the tears that fall from our eyes,
Forget the wounds inflicted by others' lies.
Come, let's start a new chapter, you and me,
But this time, nothing will hinder, nothing will be.
Because I can't bear to be away from you,
To see you find happiness with someone new.
Let's discuss this between just the two of us,
Hoping against chaos, still holding onto trust.
For you are the constant scream of my heart,
When will I feel your embrace, a new start?
I long for you, oh how I yearn,
Your name is the only thing my heart will forever churn.
