Notes About The Poem

No matter what the occasion there is always that certain unsung person in the background making sure everything comes off just right. 

Whenever you are feeling like you are the only person in the world with the troubles you have there is that one person who is there for you.

Wherever you go, whatever is going on there is that someone who is making everything right.

Hats off to the unsung heros who often feel unappreciated themselves but they won't let anyone else feel like that.

A Remarkable Person

You are remarkable.
It shows in all your ways.
You're kind and you're considerate.
You brighten someone's days.

You think about important things.
You're careful with your thoughts.
Not shallow, vain or idle,
You're special just because,

You deeply care for others.
You're wise and try to help.
You offer help and hope to folks.
Not pre-occupied with self.

You don't bad mouth your neighbor,
Don't let problems hold you back.
You believe in possibilities.
You never turn your back,

On anything unfinished.
Folks like you are few.
You make good things happen,
Just by being you.

I do know unsung heroes. They change the world for the better but never Pat their own back. There are billions like this. First responders come to mind. Their life and blood on the line daily.
