A Real American President

Across the marble halls of power, a storm began to brew,
To challenge one who stood outside the circles that they knew.
From the dawn of his first calling, the gauntlets all were thrown,
In a series of maneuvers that the city hadn't known.

They wove a web of narratives, of shadows and of ties,
With headlines fueled by whispers and a thousand sharp replies.
Through years of Russian rumors and the tales they tried to spin,
They launched a thousand hoaxes just to keep him from a win.

From pages of a dossier to the wires they sought to tap,
They laid a hundred pitfalls and a constant legal trap.
They sought to drain the treasury and tarnish every name,
With fines and heavy levies meant to cast a shadow’s shame.

Twice the gavel struck the desk in chambers dark and cold,
Yet through the fire and the frost, his spirit remained bold.
The opposition faltered, as divided as they stood,
Their legacy a failing blur, misunderstood and crude.

They tried to tilt the map to change the favor of the hall,
But the High Court stood its ground and watched the gerrymander fall.
They ruled the lines unrighteous, found redistricting vain,
While those who shot their own feet were left to count the pain.

At every step of progress, when the factories breathed anew,
The critics sought to break the man and all he tried to do.
He built the wall for citizens who love the stars and stripes,
Through every season's battle and the media's bitter gripes.

He put the worker first at last, the citizen who toils,
Not those who cross the border just to claim the country's spoils.
Now in his second season, the orders fall like rain,
To secure the Southern borders and to end the era's pain.

The court stood as a sentinel as legal battles swirled,
In Trump v. CASA ruling, he astonished all the world.
By April twenty-twenty-six, the Senate counts are high,
With dozens more appointees placed beneath the American sky.

The numbers speak of strength regained in the growth of GDP,
A two-percent advancement for the world at large to see.
Consumer spending surged ahead, the gold exports were bold,
With tech and energy reborn, the story is retold.

He repackaged the Republic with a spirit fierce and bright,
And gave it back to every soul, a beacon in the night.
With a pledge of "Great Again," he stood before the throng,
A wall of deep conviction, eighty million voices strong.

They were the fuel and the spark, the combustion and the flame,
That gave him power for the steps that others feared to name.
And if he could remain to lead for just one season more,
America would reach a height it never knew before.

As history turned a golden page beneath the eagle's crest,
The world beheld a rising power, the titan of the West.
A nation bound by common dreams beneath the eagle’s wing,
Now hear the bells of liberty in every valley ring.
