A Rat, the Mice and Mr Tin

A Rat, The Mice, Mr Tin went somewhere they've not been
"let me dance!" said A Rat "and we let The Mice sing"
as they travelled on the road toward West Berlin.

Even though roads are rocky and the hills are steep
the friends found time to play with sheep
A Rat, The Mice, Mr Tin got to meet lil Bo-Peep.

Travelling through the river Mr Tin starts to rust
shaken he said "on to the beach quickly we must!"
faster they paddle and arrived in time, but just.

A Rat, The Mice, Mr Tin forgot the place they've been
confused they stared at each other, heads in a spin
The Mice "if you lose your past your future is grim."
