A Rainy Day of Hope

You only live once in this present existence,
so prance with kindness in the rain
devoid hindrance and opposition.

Grab a kaleidoscopic parasol and dance.
Enhance your cheerfulness and ride
the tide of the rainbow that arrives after
the storm...go the distance with joy.

So what if it is cascading sprinkles of
cold showers down your weary back?
Find relief in the cool and crisp breeze
that resounds in rhythm and harmony.

Enjoy the moment and bring your
puppy to play in the pouring rain.
(He always does have fun no matter what.)

Live for today; for mother nature shall
              bestow great thoughts of ‘morrow.
If you take advantage of these
spontaneous imputes then maybe-
                       just maybe...

seizing the day will grant you freedom and the benevolence of hope.

Oh, how good is this. And kind and hopeful. I really enjoyed this poem. It invoked a wonderful picture of overcoming adversity.
