A Quiet Reverie

dull dismal clouds hang,
                        snow gone eventually
                               sky dark overcast

                              rest beside window
                        willow gloomy quiet
                    wait for resurgence

                              rose bush sadly bare
                                     after exciting summer
                                           roots sleep peacefully

                           ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                              silver ornaments
                       snow shimmers on long branches
                behold pretty sight
                              tall evergreen decked
                                     the queen ornately adorned
                                           poised, graceful, gleaming
                somber starry nights
                        illuminated bright sky
                                moon ~ a strip ~ glistens
