A Quiet Place

A quiet place where I can meditate Is clearly a must in my life, as of late, Preferably in a canopy of tall trees Free from insects, particularly bees! Where I can shut out raucous voices The constant drum of traffic noises, And let my mind range far and wide Or simply think of nothing … inside My mind resting in contemplation Communing peacefully in God’s creation.

A quiet place is essential to me. I need a sanctuary in which I feel safe from everything and everyone.

Me, too. Of course, living alone in my little home, I can pretty much shut out everything anytime I want.

I love that you know how to still yourself, and have an internal quiet place. I am shocked that so few do.

I think it's so important, Caren. I suspect you lose yourself when you are painting.

This is very nice. Not everyone is for solitude, but I find I enjoy it very much. Glad you're able to do that!

Jeff, it's a beautiful thing. I believe, for the first time in my life, I have been able to go to a quiet place and do...absolutely nothing! I only wish I had been able to do so sooner, and I probably could have saved myself from a lot of stress, aggravation, and health problems!
