A Question of People

A QUESTION OF PEOPLE
                    by BambiLynn '78 ?

Criticize me, criticize me.
What right have you got?
I'm free, you're free.
So why should you talk?
Why criticize my wrong?
You've been wrong, I'm sure.
Yet you criticize the young.
Criticize the old.
You criticize the right.
And criticize the wrong.
Does being young hide the heart?
Does being old hide the soul?
Does being wrong hide the right?
I'm young, yet I'm old.
I'm wrong, yet I'm right.
I'm human, yet I'm me.
And that's all I ever want to be.
