A Psalm of Trust at All Times

O Lord, You wired my heart with light,
You tuned my soul to rise and write.
Golden branches stretch and sing,
neurites hum with morning’s wing.
You breathe in me the dawn’s delight,
You pulse my thoughts with holy sight.
Let every signal start with grace,
Your hand upon my heart’s embrace.
Lord, As I awaken to walk in You,
Help me speak with joy, and think what’s true.
Let my heart You created boldly proclaim:
“This day belongs to You, O Name!”
O God who weeps, who holds my pain,
You water my heart with sacred rain.
Sometimes fear and tremble tries to abide,
The Holy Spirit won’t leave. He remains inside.
You wired my soul to feel and cry,
to ache, to break, yet not to die.
Your hand is near in every tear,
Your whisper calms my deepest fear.
Let my grief be held, not rushed away,
Let my sorrow teach me how to pray.
And in this life as You watch from above
I know I’ll find Your mercy, in Your love.
O Maker of laughs within that glow,
You plant the joy in hearts below.
My heart sparkles, dances, and plays,
My spirit sings in childlike ways.
You tune each thread to laughter’s beat,
I rejoice in thoughts, my dreams so sweet.
You clap with delight at my praiseful sounds,
where my innocence love for You abound.
In You Lord, I feel safe and known,
in my heart is where holy seeds are sown.
And may my branches grow strong and be,
a tree of listening—rooted in Thee.
