A Proudly Mapareng Citizen

The land of my great grandfathers ,
The city of beautiful daughters ,
Raised with love and care by their hard working Mothers ,
Together they planted love ,
Lived so lovely as those birds from Alaska with blue feathers.
Surrounded by the Smashing mountains of Drakensberg ,
Down to Mohlatsengwane river ,
There lies the great view of a palace none like other,
My city is awesome.
A home of hustlers,
A city of fighters ,
We may all not be religious,
But we not the haters
we are fabulous.
My city, my home
I am a proudly Mapareng citizen
