A Promise

I am still waiting for it
but I fear it will not be found in time
Once I stood on steady ground
Before it all crumbled
Within a moment I was consumed
But didn't struggle
I let myself go from everything
And found bliss
Nothing is far more peaceful
Then this world

I didn't go under long
I fixed my spot to stand
Covered with unbroken plastic
I found my new face
I hope it was the right choice
But few choices are right
So I will stand on this soil
And I wait for it

I made myself a promise
And I will keep it.......until the end
