A Prisoner of Love

Everything i am,
meant nothing to you,
everything you said,
none of it was true.
I was a pawn,
in your cruel game,
you won this time,
and i'm to blame.
You used me,
broke my heart,
shattered my dreams,
ripped everything apart.
You told me you loved me,
this was a lie,
told me you'd always be there,
then told me goodbye.
I'm a prisoner to you now,
locked in your dark cell,
Will I break free?
only time will tell.
