A Prayer to My God for My Family
Lord, it is to you only this father prays.
Show my children and grandchildren the right way.
Please open their hearts to grasp your words.
Open Lord their ears so that you'll be heard.
Jesus open the Disciples minds as part of his plan.
Please open theirs too, so they might understand.
Make them hungry enough to crave you everyday.
Draw them to Jesus, the Life, Truth & the Way!
Help them see the truth in all women and men.
Cause divisions between them and ungodly friends!
This world they live in is becoming really bad!
Please hear the cry of their pleading dad!
I lift each one of them up to You!
Please show them daily what they should do.
Guide them to the answer when they're sick.
Show them how Jesus defeated the devils tricks.
Lord, I pray their souls only, you will keep.
May you guide and direct each one as they sleep.
Please make them each hunger for your word.
Give them spiritual ears so it's rightly heard.
Cause their hearts to never be ashamed.
To speak or proclaim things in Jesus name!
I pray they each may understand.
Pastors are just a flawed woman or man.
Lord you said we shall be taught by you.
The right things no humans can be trusted to do!
To me there are only four things that are truth.
Jesus, the Bible, the Holy Spirit and You!
Lord, God Almighty. Please hear my plea.
Help them live with minds set on Eternity!
As their Dad & Grandad, this I proclaim.
Please let this come to pass in Jesus name!
Amen!
