A Prayer To Jesus

My Lord Jesus to you I pray
through you to God on high
your father and mine our God
this is always my daily cry

O Lord I thank you in my heart
for your love to die for me
taking my sins on your body
paying for them on Calvary's tree

Thanks for always being near me
wherever I am you are there
this thought makes my heart smile
to know you really do care

You are my Lord and indeed my God
about me, you know just everything
this makes a melody within my soul
bringing out praises to you I sing

Thanks be to you my Lord Jesus
that I can really call you mine
you're the best in all the world
love indeed is God's son shine

(A children's love is to speak to their saviour and friend)

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for your kind words and encouragement, I do pray you'll soon be feeling better. We have had our recent flu and covid injections I have been ok other than a sore arm for half a day but Christine has been unwell for over a week and she is feeling better except lacking energy. We are hoping to go up to the Scottish highlands for a holiday on Friday. Take care and will be praying for you, Gordon

You can definitely call Him yours, in fact He is hoping you will call Him just that for your entire faithful life dear poet. This is beautifully written, it's an inspiration for all of us, thank you
