A Prayer Greeting For My Poetry Soup Family
Let this decade of 2020
Be the decade of plenty!
May we all sow seeds,
Of many good deeds,
Not for personal gains,
But to relieve the pains,
Of many human victims,
Of bad political dictums,
Provide the basic needs,
And free educational feeds,
To our suffering brethren
And their deserving children!
In this large fabric of humanity,
One tear any where in our unity,
Will destroy the peace
Of the entire human race!
Let’s save the planet,
From the ignorant,
And restore it all to green,
to what it once has been,
Before we started the insane divide,
Of earth, our only habitable hide,
Cut to small pieces called countries,
Fenced, protected by armed sentries,
Not to defend valuable human cultures,
But to nourish power hungry vultures,
Let creatures be free as god intended,
Not enslaved as the devil contended!
