A Prayer For Others
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
Give your Angels and spread their wings with light.
Watch over those who are peacefully at sleep,
And your sick ones, O Lord Christ, while they weep!
Rest your weary ones, for they are tired too,
Bless your dying ones, with your love so true!
Soothe your suffering ones and pity your afflicted ones,
But shield your joyous ones, and "thy will be done"!
