A Prayer For Mum
dear Lord
in you my mother did believe
so please forgive her for the day she had to leave
she did not mean to leave us behind
but love and peace in her heart she needed to find
if she had explained then we may of been able to understand
how she left us and our dad to take another mans hand
she did not mean to cause us heartache or pain
she just needed to feel happy once again
Lord we all make mistakes and sometimes we do what we have to do
but deep in her heart she still loved you
please show her your love and may she know your grace
and keep her safe in that special place until we can see her again face to face amen.
Sometimes life is hard and we all do what we have to do what is right at the time, we know
we will see you again sometime. rest well and be at peace, we know you loved us even
though you had to go your own way at that time.
