A Prayer For Me
Today I Said a Prayer
And it Was Just for Me
I Know That Sounds Quite Selfish
But I Needed Help You See
My Life I Felt Was over
And I Had No More to Give
There Was Nothing Left of Me
I Didn't Want to Live
So I Got down on My Knees
And I Pleaded and I Cried
God, Please Let Me Have a Purpose
This Pain I Can't Abide
Then I Heard a Voice
Say Gently as Can Be
"Everything Will Be All Right
Just Have Some Faith in Me."
