A Prayer For Amie

She comes to me her love confused Alights my heart only to bruise She knows not what her wants to be And fails to see what she must flee. Why does the lord not give her sight? To take her absence through her flight I’ll say a prayer for her and I Though god may shake his head and sigh. A snowdrop does in spring enflower In morning dew and evening shower To show though snow there is a way If she would ask on knees and pray
