A Prayer a Day Keeps the Devil Away

A prayer a day, keeps the devil away,
And keeps Jesus near at all times.
He knows your prayers, Before you say it,
But your voice rings Heaven’s Prayer chimes.

When satan comes, to toss you about,
And to push you to and fro,
Just call out to God and use Jesus name,
And satan?  He’ll just have to go.

When you’re sick in body, and down in your heart,
And you really don’t know what to do,
Just cry out to Jesus, and pray in His name,
And the Lord will see you through.

Pray a prayer a day to keep satan away,
And keep Jesus near to your heart,
When push comes to shove, just depend on His love,
And He His love to you will impart.
