A Pomegranate

Juicy red rubies
Glint in fleshy covering
Soon to be devoured.

My pin pricks each seed
Scarlet liquid spurts once pressed
Oozing with goodness.

The sweetest flavour
Such succulent refreshment
Dancing on my tongue.
