A Poet's Worth
Your body fills with so much emotion that must break through
There's something seeded deep down inside of you
The flurries you feel once they start to impart
that which speaks volumns coming from your heart.
Those feelings turn to words that you've penned on your paper now
As you wipe away the sweat thats dripping from your upper brow
the excitement of it all seems to spin your head around
as you realize whats in you must surface and not be bound
To bring life to what we feel passionate about in the depths of our soul,
and to touch and help someone along this journey called life is a poet's
common goal.
