A Poet’s Morning Prayer 8/24/2023 Father, in heaven, let this day in totality be. One in which, I give to others, and you are proud of me. On this Thursday morning, I happily do stand. Requesting that you guide my poet’s hand. Thank you for this gift my new,beginning,poetic skills, Remind me, I am not on earth to do another person ill! Above all, mans’ rewards or approval, most empty are. Your blessings reward me daily, from your home, afar!

Yes, let us do our best to make someone's day better, brighter. Why write poems that target other poets in a negative way? Some do, sadly

Great point, Tom!I agree. Instead of crawling over bodies to be the top of the heap…why not hug another poet! It’s a win win situation,I know that feeling of getting hit. Or whole groups ignoring me. My thing, is to not please man, but God, and yes, I do know there nobody is perfecyare poets here who are perfectly kind people. Lfe is about learning,,,people, places and things. Thank you, Tom.
