A Poet's Dozen---Rush Hour

red tint of evening bleeds across a glazed skyline… crowds droop on bleak aisles The street lamps wane beyond rush hour; eyes missing the rarest flower… And city lights drain people’s bones, when aching shadows blur my view. ---------- Silent One's A Poet's Dozen Contest 11/5/2015

Congrats Nette, on a super poem in a new form. " How lonely the murmurs heaving around against the pitch of uptown’s restless mind; that my own breath, withdrawn, endures its sound replaying ticked moments of work’s toil ,blind lost in a haste when life cannot unwind." Solid gold my friend!

Man's isolation lucidly described through your bleeding quill. I feel your kind of loneliness. Fantastic poem rated above7!

WOW and WOW. From the contest aspect: everyone should just put down their pens; this is write-on (pun intended), from a poetry aspect: WOW - I have felt this way and you captured that feeling in every sense of the word poetry - absolutely superb imagery and feel - I am so delightedly impressed. Favorites and a 7 WOW ... CayCay

Impressive, strong poem. Using the after 5 pm syndrome to elucidate on a subject re taking for granted the more important things in life is very creative. A 7 for me!
