A Poem For Thought
A poem for thought
"Or just a love poem"
By Feo
As the day grows mild on Atlantic ave the street clowns are out
The counter of the bakery on the corner is green and the pastries are colorful and stale
Names are misspelled on the logo
It's calm out
I'm silent as I stare into the streets
I think of you
Across the river, I'll do the same
When I stare at steel ships through the window I'll do the same
When I'm social with someone I'll do the same
When I take my last breath,
We'll do the same.
