A Poem About Mothers

Children listen closely to what I have to say It is an important reflection for you to think about each day Honor your mothers for everything they do If it wasn't for them, there would be no you Give them a hug every chance you get I guarantee that is something they will never forget Tell them you love them no matter your mood They are your mothers, there's no need to be shrewd Let them know they're special the best way you can If you see they need help, lend them a hand Spend time with them every chance that may arise Or you will surely wish you would have when she dies A mother's love is something God made very special And may be the only force to lift you when you fall Other than God, of course, but they are made from Him So show them you love them from deep within
