A Place of Much Activity
It's a place of much activity
where so much is done to cook
everything is all handy nearby
every menu is found in your book
Nowadays there are many health rules
so strict that all must be spot on
a real change to the days of yesteryear
having a character that's never gone
There's a guy who loves the kitchen
especially washing the dishes he loves
full of soapy water in the basin
keeping his hands soft not even rough
So many utensils are kept there
the cutlery, plates, and all the rest
everything to make really good food
high expectations from every guest
Keep the windows open for sure
let the fresh air come right in
take away all the steam out
never forget to empty the garbage bin
(Just some thoughts on the kitchen's activity in many a home, the guy in verse 3 are me as have to own up to love doing the dishes. )
