A Place In the Sun
When you're feeling down,
There's a place in the sun that gives safe and sound.
In the midst of your wrongful grief,
One prayer eases pain and gives a relief.
How come that you lose hope and give up right away?
Have you tried to do something worthy for today?
Everything may not come on your planned time,
God sees your struggle and He'll give you the sweetest lime.
Why keep on asking for something you don't have?
Have you counted the blessings that were given above?
If something bothers you at night,
God waits and will give you the brightest light.
You said that you're unloved and oppressed?
Have you called His name to heal your soul that is suppressed?
If everything seems to be hopelessly unfair,
Remember that God is on your side to get rid of your despair.
I perfectly understand how you feel,
I was there and experienced the whole thrill.
In the midst of high and strong oppression,
I called God and bring these problems to His attention.
