A Place I Was Knew

I have tried,
To hide,
In a place I was knew,
Where troubles were few,
A place in which I didn't know of hate,
And a place in which my dreams were ever so great,
Oh, to return I have tried greatly,
Only to fail miserably,
And I've learned to accept that though,
I cannot return I can show,
Those yet young,
That world in which once I belonged.
