A Pink Cake For Me

A physical, some lumps, mammography, biopsies 

Chemo, radiation, surgery, side effects 

Near the edge, the strength, the will, sprouting back to life

The scars, a gift, a miracle, a testimony, reflects

I wasnt sure how to write this for contest. I mean i didnt know whether to tell a story or what. Luckily i dont have anyone close to me who has been affected by this disease but ive met several women who have.
