A Piano In My Backyard

There is a piano in my backyard,
it plays musical water to my ears,
a waterfall cascades from it old keys
into a pond with so much ease.

It came with the house and was a feature,
the real estate person said It was unique,
a piano teacher owned it at one time,
she gave lessons to children in her prime.

When I sit in the evening I am entertained
by the piano and its endless watery show
as it plays an aquatic number for me to enjoy,
pretending I am a guest at the Hotel Savoy.
