A Photo

Met some friends for lunch; We go back many, many years, Before we started families Or even our careers. We caught up on our lives, Discussing grandkids, health and trips And problems in the world with which We cannot come to grips. A lovely meal was followed by A scenic river stroll. Before we parted ways, we had One necessary goal – A photo of the three of us, All smiles and looking good, An older version of the selves That formed our sisterhood.

I don't know how you girls do it. You seem to 'regroup' and mesh together so well after all those years... Whenever I've tried this, it's bombed badly with my 'brothers in the old brotherhood.' Oh, well...
