A Philosophy of Rhymes
I was thinking and stroking my hair,
of moments that I thought I would share.
Like moments on the verge of life and death,
all those moments that took away your breath.
Times of tenderness filled with our love,
other times when secrets came from above.
Life is a mystery of the mind,
like when all the planets are aligned.
And the world is supposed to end,
when in reality...you ascend.
Locked behind a dimensional door,
living a life you don't know what for.
Waiting to prove that there is no night,
and that you're filled with heavenly light.
So put on your going to church shoes,
'cause in the end you've nothing to lose.
For all that is good will be the way,
when the curtain's drawn on that bright new day!
