A Person's Right
Education should be a person's right
This does not come easy to those who fight
For the chance to use their brain
To the best of their ability
It's easier to give up and live a life of futility
A life never fulfilled
All hope and dreams diminished
Aspirations and expectations
Lost, over, finished
Without education, many doors are slammed shut
Uneducated people get stuck in a rut
Some turn to drink, others to crime and drugs
Society encouraging criminals and thugs
Thugs and criminals cost taxpayers money
And cause unnecessary grief
Compulsive education would bring harmony and relief
There would be no reason, to disobey the law
Opportunities would present themselves, not possible before
It would give all a chance to give of their best
And join the Human Race with all the rest
