A Perfect World

A Perfect World

Beautiful music plays in my ear
In my mind not a care
In my heart there is no fear
In my eyes there are tears

For a moment I’m lost
In a perfect world
~~~~~
In the house there are no cries
No little children thrown aside
No police asking questions why
No father trying to deny
For a moment I’m lost
In a perfect world
~~~~~
The whole world lives in peace
Hatred in people now has ceased
There’s plenty of food for the world to feast
Man has controlled the inner beast

For a moment I’m lost
In a perfect world
~~~~~
Love for God rules the mind
Gentle-hearted people is what you’ll find
No need to pray for a little more time
No divide’s of any kind
For a moment I’m lost
In a perfect world
~~~~~
