A Penny For Your Thoughts
Share a thought or two
Your hopes, dreams, world view
Pointers, tips not a few
Diatribe with wily quotes imbue
Anon, write of lust, love you did hew
Family, friends that stuck like glue
Aggrieved acquaintances; places you did rue
Turncoats, triflers that you did mew
Faded hopes, dreams please eschew
Tmes, events that made you blue
Heartfelt convictions freely spew
But spare me your trite don'ts and dos
Impart inspiration, advice from which you grew
Mentors from whom life-lessons you drew
Light-hearted moments a slew
Embarrassing moments that made you stew
