A Path Well Traveled

Fearing the journey not quite paved.
Guilded reflections of pleasures past.
Dwelt laden guilt, nor voices saved,
Thoughts worth hearing, truth's en massed.
Silenced suffering though not yet waived,
desire nonetheless guides this path.

This is a form of poetry i found on another site i belong to.
It is called Harrisham rhyme (by Harrisham Minhas).
Rhyming scheme: ababab
six-line rhyming stanza
Last letter of the first word of each line
is the first letter of the first word of the next line
No restriction on the starting letter of the first line.

This was exciting as well as challenging
