A Path To Destruction Or a Wife Fights Back
A winning smile, a tender kiss
so often it's disquised like this,
a gentle touch, a warm embrace
but something still seems out of place
Excuses made, promises broken
tangled lies are all that's spoken
pipes and needles, up all night
leading to another fight
No punches thrown, no slapped faces
just sinking down to deeper places
a safer place so deep inside
from the madness run and hide
No place exsists it cannot find
burried deep within the mind
low self-esteem, shattered dreams
reinforced by lies, decietful schemes
To watch it drain a life away
to know it will again betry
torn by love so deep and true
at a loss for what to do
It warps the mind, steals a life
leaving chaos, disaster, a wife
crying as the pain increases
trying in vain to salvage the pieces
Will meth's destructive course once made,
stay the course that it has laid?
Or can a wife with love's pure might
defeat the foe and win the fight?
