A Path Not Taken
A Path Not Taken
Written: by Miracle Man

Married life had been like butterless toast,
feeling forced to subsist on unshucked corn.
Forlorn days, he believed, were his host,
Now a hinder look finds him dated and worn.
As his days mounted, and years elongated,
occasionally depression reared its ugly head.
Now, what if’s, are in his thoughts debated,
should he have chosen the other path instead?
