A Painter's Love

I still remember the first time I laid my eyes upon your face,
So beautiful, peaceful, and pure just so full of grace,
I saw that beautiful sunshine radiate its rays upon your golden brown hair,
And your enigmatic and mystic eyes trying to seduce me into your lair.

I fell in love with you at first sight,
And it gave my heart and soul a vicious fright,
Because nothing in this world could make me love this much before,
And you came out of nowhere and made my heart feel so sore.

Time fulfills its purpose once again,
Taking away beautiful things from foolish men,
I was too slow to act and capture your heart,
Now you became an enigma forever lingering in my art.
