A page in time silently turned today In tears we watched you fade away Our hearts are broken over you But when we saw you sleeping Peacefully free from pain We could not ask you back To suffer once again You may no longer be in our lives But in our heart you will always be Bless the memories you left behind Let them be our keepsakes Memories that will never tarnish or grow old Sadly we'll miss you along life's way So we will grieve a while for you Then let our grief be comforted It's only a while that we must part You were gone before we knew it Only God know why.
