A One of a Kind Woman
She always cries when she laughs
And every time she takes a bath
She soaks until her fingers wrinkle up
She’d give you the food off her plate
Everywhere she goes she is late
And she drinks fine wine from a paper cup
She likes to dance in the rain
Adds orange juice to her Champaign
And always stops to make faces at the kids
She skinny dips in the moonlight
Knows how to make your wrongs alright
And remembers everything she ever did
She listens when you speak
Lends a hand to those too weak
And always has a word of kindness to share
She drives a bit too fast
Waves at the people she goes past
And the wind loves to tangle up her hair
She gives until it hurts
She looks best in her t-shirts
She wins when she plays poker with the boys
And, she wears my wedding ring
I am lucky to be one other thing
She counts as those things that she enjoys
