A Note To My Future Self
Understand the difference between sickness and health
Maybe by now, you'll have understood yourself
Remember you did this all on your own, you aint have no help
Remember to be righteous
On your path, you made some homies, made you wanna write this
So you could give it a listen, when you need reminding
Hit play, and fall into your thoughts, before you rewind it
Remember the times when, you and the homies would rhyme and
Forget the world that surrounded, the room that me and you vibed in
Remember the violence, you felt when you'd close your eyelids
Forget what the price is, in time, you'll find that you're priceless
If ever I digress, remember to keep the topic
My mental progress, is similar to a mosh pit
To sit in an office, to me, is to sit in my coffin
Don't slip on your conscious, the world'll have you making a profit
Off feeding a monster, don't listen to what they talking
They couldn't follow the steps of the places you've had to walk in
Remember the artist, wisdom come through the hardships
You're only a human, even when you feel like a martian
The world is your target, don't ever let it disarm you
Reign with the power, made in the image of God's army
You're built with the armor, of a thousand soldier infantry
Earth, Heaven, or Hell, I'ma be here 'til infinity
