A Note To Arms
Bombs are not a solution to peace
nor missiles that carry them to ground
The bounty of the Earth
is what keeps people around
Before a nation strikes
it should consider what's at stake
Freedom, life and liberties
Oh for goodness sake!
All this killing is no good
it doesn't make any sense
Why not hug your brother instead
even if across a fence
I watch the news with dismay
with nations deep in war
They can get so much more with diplomacy
and inviting ones in your door
A tank is just a metal box
that converts those that love to hate
Why not just deliver flowers and food
before it is too late
