A Night To Remember

The water was cold, as was the air. And I wasn't about to let her freeze just standing there. Yes it was chilly, no warmth within the air. But there was a feeling deep within me that's so very rare. I handed my jacket without thinking twice to this beautiful piece of art with so much delight. Just out of a painting she seemed to be. Not a single glitch visible to me. After she had it on, she turned and smiled at me. I had to catch my breath cause I felt weak at the knees. Soon there after we were in the car, and I couldn't help but rest my hand upon her arm. Then she was pointing or stretching as it seems so I took a chance with thee. It seemed she was reaching out for me. It was now or never I thought to myself, this night will end as quick as it begin. I reached out my hand to rest on hers not knowing what she would do in return. To my delight she seemed just as pleased as we entangled our fingers with so much glee. A few moments later we arrived at her house, it was a shame she had to go, I wish she could have stayed a few more minutes with me.
