A Night of Memories
We stand amongst the silent trees
And watch the goings of a breeze
A breath of air that flows on by
And shows the path to you and I
The darkened shapes around us stand
Like sentries guarding the silent land
And watching from their perches high
The twinkling stars that light the sky
On we walk through darkened keep
While the world around us fast asleep
Except for those the creatures fair
Who claim the darkness as their lair
A passing cloud reveals a sight
The moon in all her golden light
A light for us to see the way
So from this path we'll never stray
The brilliant rays shining on down
Upon the midnight land around
A golden light for you and me
To crown this night in memory
