A Night Like Tonight

I think of what life
Will turn out to be
Am I with you?
Are you with me?

Are the days cold?
And the nights even colder?
Does the sun still shine
When the light gets older

Is the ground green?
Sandy or white?
And if you'd let me
Could I hold you tonight?

Where would it be?
When what and you
It's something that we
Just need to do
