A Night Full of Wonder and Brightness
Never was there a scene such as this:
a night full of wonder and brightness!
O holiest child, God
has sent you to redeem us from sin!
O most adored child,
let joy be the hope of every man!
Little King,
accept our humble gifts;
we have traveled far...
following that star
through small towns and hills!
Little King,
we have found you in the warmest hay...
beneath your mother's serene face,
while shepherds and kings kneel and pray;
now, we rejoice and give you praise!
Never was there a scene such as this:
a night full of wonder and brightness...
the biggest star is ever seen,
the loudest song ever heard
that amazed all the shepherds tending their sheep,
" Be joyful, Christ is born...He's your King and Lord! "
