A New Start 2-13-01

She lies in a bed of dreams
In happiness or so it seems.
It’s been a long time life has begun
And her search goes on for holding hands.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
And strength, grows on wings so white and pure,
For her dreams feel secure.
Lines of songs and verses in rhyme
Will heal the wounds of bitter times.
No longer she will lie in sadness
And puts on a smile to hide her madness.
Young souls that slip away from tears
Can strengthen hope through many years.
And with her new strength, she’ll rise above
Heal her wounds and learn to love.
